CP Shooters Ladies Soccer Team Fundraisers
We are seeking Corporate sponsors to provide financial support for our endeavour to attend the World Masters Games. As a token of our appreciation, we will be publishing a list of contributors in our community newspaper shortly before the event and sponsors will be provided with a thank you letter and team photo that could be displayed. Any corporate donation of $250.00 or over will receive their advertisement on our team jackets. Email Vicki Behn-Belland at vb.stinger@sympatico.ca for more information.
We are currently selling Umbro Soccer shorts (adult sizes S, M & L) for $25.00. They have a logo on the bottom right front leg - Go Hard or Go Home (with a bouncing soccer ball) and would make excellent christmas gifts. Of course, many have just been buying them for themselves! They are a great investment. You can see them on most of our player's and they are becoming quite popular. We are also interested in taking orders for your team. Please feel free to contact me Kim Halliday via E-mail (kamikazeekim@hotmail.com) or phone (613)-492-0880 and I will make arrangements to get the shorts to you! Kim Halliday (613)-492-0880
We also have Independent Grocery Store gift cards available if anyone would like them - $50 or $100 denominations. You get the full value on the card and dont have to spend the whole amount on one purcase. You can use them also at Loblaws, Superstore, No Frills, Valu-mart, Zehrs and Fortinos. If you shop regularly at these stores, please consider supporting us. Email Amanda Mulloy at amanda.mulloy@tomahawk.ca if you would like to purchase the gift cards.
The Melvin Family Fundraising Dance
The Melvin Family Fundraising Dance on Saturday, November 8, 2008, was a huge success. The funds raised will help to meet the day to day financial challenges of raising a family.
The Organizing Committee thanks all those individuals and businesses who donated goods and services to the silent auction. Thanks go to the 250 friends and supporters who came out to the dance and party for a special cause. Music, comedy, master of ceremonies, hall rental, and bar services were all generously donated The dance was a true example of a community coming together to support a family which has already given so much to the community.
