Is there someone in your family that will be looking for a summer job? The Club is always looking for new referees (especially 16 years of age and up). The minimum age level required to referee is 12 years of age no later than March 31, 2010. Participants 12 & 13 years old would be certified as 'Mini Soccer Referees' and would be qualified to referee 7v7 micro and mini soccer games. Participants 14 & 15 years will be certified as 'Youth Referees' while participants 16 years and older will be certified as 'District Referees'.

Each participant will be required to attend a referee training course in order to be certified as a game official. The 12 & 13 year olds will be required to attend the 'Mini Soccer Referee Course'. Participants 14 years and older will be required to pre-register for the 'Entry Level Referee Course', complete a pre-course workbook, an in class workbook, and pass and examination at the conclusion of the course. Successful candidates will be certified as 'CSA District Referees' (if over age 16) or 'CSA Youth Referees' (ages 14 & 15) and 'Mini Soccer Referees'.
